Most successful people I know can point to a time in their careers when luck made opportunity. I’m happy to announce an opportunity to you, with a fun twist: a chance to compete with your business plan on a new CBS 46 reality show, “The Next Tycoon,” and to win a business prize package valued at $25,000.

As a televised business-plan competition, “The Next Tycoon” will bring you and other entrepreneurial thinkers in front of national business leaders to show what makes your business plan better than all the rest. Is it unique? Is it feasible? Is it profitable? Four finalists, with one alternate contestant, will then face a panel of media and business experts and a live audience for the taping of the show.

The first episode of “The Next Tycoon” is set to air September 13 at 12:30 p.m. on CBS 46 Atlanta as well as the new national cable channel, the MAV Network.
